Spatially Resolved Transcriptomics of a Mouse Model of Alzheimer’s Disease
Identifying individual cells and their genetic makeup using RNA-seq is critical for understanding their roles in how the central nervous system (CNS) functions in both healthy and diseased states. Using Visium Spatial Gene Expression it is possible to characterize the patterns in a mouse model of familial Alzheimer’s Disease, with increased tissue coverage and spatial resolution. Harmony between imaging and sequencing is essential for the understanding of the relationship between CNS cell types in healthy and diseased samples.
