Introducing the Antibody
Antibodies are a vital part of the immune system, playing a key role in our ability to fight infection and in the efficacy of vaccinations. However, that’s not where their utility ends. Antibodies can be used as a biopharmaceutical product, such as antibody-drug conjugates, in diagnostic testing and as an analytical tool for detection in immunoassays such as western blots, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays, lateral flow assays and immunohistochemistry.
